Located five miles north of Albany, Texas in Shackelford County, Stasney's Cook Ranch is a 25,000 acre historic working cattle ranch that offers a one of a kind, authentic Texas experience. Founded in the late 1800's by W. I. and Matilda "Dude" Nail Cook, its history as a great cattle and oil ranch is as big and colorful as Texas.
There are many ways to enjoy the Ranch including hunting, fishing, birding, biking, hiking, wildlife tour, wind turbine tour, retreats and special events.
